What is Counselling?

Counselling gives you a chance to explore your worries and troubles in a supported place.

Together we can discuss any problems or feelings you may have in a safe and confidential environment.  I will not tell you what to do, my role is to work with you to identify any root causes or ways of thinking that may be contributing to what is bothering you. Together we can set goals and action plans to help reconcile any issues to help you to find ways of coping.

We will work at your own pace

There is no pressure to talk through things you are not ready to unpack

Our sessions are strictly confidential and without judgement

There are many types of therapy and I use a Integrative Approach which combines CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), Person Centred, Transactional Analysis Creative Therapy and many more.

In addition I may give you reflective work to complete between sessions. This is to ensure that our therapy sessions will be built upon between the next session. It also gives you time to process what may have come up in therapy.

What if Counselling isn't for you?.... well what about Hypnotherapy?....

Hypnotherapy is widely endorsed as a treatment for habit breaking, stress-related issues and for a range of long-term conditions, especially helpful if you are uncomfortable with talking therapies.
